Sustainability at Worstead Estate
At Worstead Estate, our commitment to the future is grounded in two guiding principles: sustainability and accessibility. Whether you're walking past our regenerative farmland, staying in one of our thoughtfully restored cottages, or joining us for an event, we want every guest to feel welcome while knowing their stay supports the long-term health of the land and local community.
A Greener Farm, a Healthier Future
Farming at Worstead Estate is rooted in regeneration. We're proud to practice low-impact, sustainable agriculture that nurtures biodiversity, improves soil health, and reduces our carbon footprint. This includes:
Tree and Pollinator Corridors invite native species to move through the landscape
Owl & Bat Boxes to provide a home to some of rarest inhabitants
Organic Fertilisers from livestock sheds and grazing, to soil fertilising cover crops
Limit Synthetic Fertilisers,by maximising organic manures, we reduce our reliance
Field to Field, circular crop production, grown from the by-products of the previous
The farm isn’t just a place of production; it’s a living, breathing ecosystem that we steward with care.
