Introducing Swann Cottage

A Beautifully Restored Self-Catering Cottage in North Norfolk

We are thrilled to announce the launch of Swann Cottage, our newest addition to Worstead Estate. Nestled deep in the Norfolk countryside, this charming property has been part of our family for generations, and after a year of dedicated restoration, it is finally ready to welcome guests for unforgettable North Norfolk holidays.

The renovation began with the rethatching of the roof, bringing the 200 year old cottage back to its roots and restoring the timeless character that makes it so special. From there, our team turned their attention inward, breathing new life into every corner of the interior. The result is a beautifully curated blend of period charm and modern convenience, where rustic beams, low-slung doors, and cosy log burners meet light, airy spaces and thoughtfully chosen contemporary finishes.

Swann Cottage retains the essence of a traditional countryside home, with original wooden features and quirky windows offering views of the surrounding fields. At the same time, guests can enjoy all the comforts of modern living, including a luxurious private hot tub, a fully converted garage games room, and a newly landscaped garden designed for both relaxation and entertaining.

Set at the end of a long gravel driveway and surrounded by open fields, the cottage offers complete peace and privacy. There are no neighbours in sight—just birdsong, big skies, and the calming rustle of the trees. Whether you're curling up by the fire or soaking in the hot tub under the stars, Swann Cottage provides the perfect backdrop for slowing down and switching off.

Sleeping up to four guests, this idyllic retreat is ideal for couples seeking a romantic escape or small families looking to reconnect with nature and each other. The serene setting and enchanting charm make it a standout choice for self catering cottages in Norfolk, offering everything you need for a restful and memorable stay.

Swann Cottage is available to book from June onwards, and we couldn’t be more excited to share this special place with you. With its unique combination of history, style, and seclusion, it promises to become a much-loved escape for anyone longing for the peace and beauty of the Norfolk countryside.
