Fully Charged: New EV Charging Now Live at Worstead Estate
Whether you’re staying with us, popping by for a local pint at Wildcraft, or a local running errands, it’s now even easier to top up your electric car at Worstead Estate. We’re excited to share that our new EV charging points are live and ready for guests and the wider community.
Why we’ve added EV charging
Supporting low‑carbon travel is a natural extension of our commitment to caring for this beautiful place. By making reliable charging available on the Estate, we’re helping:
Visitors charge while they visit Wildcraft Brewery, our campers and guests.
Local drivers add convenient top‑ups close to home.
The environment by encouraging cleaner journeys to and from the Estate.
Where to find the chargers
You’ll find the chargers in the main car park with clear signage to guide you in. Bays are marked for EVs so it’s easy to spot a space when you arrive. You can find the location here.
How it works
Using the chargers is simple:
Park in a marked EV bay and ensure your vehicle is within cable reach.
Plug in and pay following the prompts from the app - (https://www.tapelectric.app/)
Unplug and go once you’re ready to continue your trip.
Tip: Pricing, session details and any time limits are displayed in the partner app. Please check the information before starting your session.
For Estate guests
If you’re staying with us, you can charge while you relax, perfect for heading out with a full battery the next morning.
For local residents
Live nearby? We’d love you to use the chargers too. They’re available to the public during The Farm opening hours, making it a handy top‑up point for Worstead and the surrounding villages.
Charging etiquette (and how to be a great neighbour)
To keep things running smoothly for everyone:
Only park in EV bays while actively charging.
Move on when you’re finished so the next driver can plug in.
Keep cables tidy and return connectors to their holsters.
Accessibility
We’ve chosen a location with level access from the car park and clear space around the units for easy cable handling. If you need assistance at any point, please get in touch with the Estate team.
Part of a bigger sustainability picture
From habitat restoration and responsible land management to energy‑efficient buildings, the chargers are one piece of our wider sustainability work on the Estate. Choosing to charge here supports those efforts, to which we thank you.
