Accessibility at Worstead Estate: Everyone is Welcome

Creating an inclusive environment is just as important to us as protecting the planet. At Worstead Estate, we are committed to continuously improving accessibility across the estate to ensure that every guest feels welcome, comfortable, and at ease during their visit. 

Gatehouse North

Gatehouse North has been thoughtfully renovated with accessibility in mind. All rooms are located on a single floor, including three spacious bedrooms. The main bathroom features a bathtub with ample space, while the main bedroom benefits from an ensuite with a low-level shower for added convenience.

The property is accessed via an open gravel drive, leading to a stone courtyard at the back entrance.

Estate Cottage

Estate Cottage is spread over two floors, but the ground floor includes a large toilet and a second living area with a cosy pull-out bed, ideal for flexible sleeping arrangements. 

Located directly opposite our fully accessible wedding venue, Estate Cottage is a great option for guests attending weddings and events. The venue includes dedicated disabled parking, mobility lifts, accessible restrooms, hearing loops and much more.

We’re proud of the progress we’ve made in making our cottages and venue more accessible, but we recognise there’s always more to be done. That's why accessibility remains one of our missions, so that everyone truly feels welcome at Worstead Estate.
